Randi & Corey : Wedding

The first thing I though of when I saw her was "Wow, she is so pretty. I wonder if her personality is just as nice". Randi and I went to high school together, never had any classes together, but I would watch her from a distance. She and I would get to school early and I would always pick her out of the "in" crowd and compliment her silently. A few months passed and she showed up at my work, looking to be hired. I couldn't believe it. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to get to know Randi as a co-worker. She is a very dedicated woman with a lot of sass (that's country class! lol). She is so beautiful on the outside and JUST THE SAME on this inside. Compassionate about animals, she is a down home beauty. Congratulations to Randi and Corey. My husband photographed her wedding, but I enjoyed every bit of meeting with her and editing her photos. Enjoy.

Merry Christmas!

My Christmas began on December 15th at our annual family Christmas Party. My husband's family is a hoot! We play games and win money (who doesn't like that?!). We had a great sit down meal and spent time with his adorable grandmother! Christmas Eve was spent with my family. We had a good ol' country cooked meal (that included turkey, duck, mashed potatoes, zucchini)- you get the drift! We never walk away from my mom's empty handed, so I came home with a 10 pound bag of home grown zucchini! At 4:00AM this morning, my husband was hungry and didn't want to wait to open presents, so here we are wide awake. We've opened up our marvelous gifts and I wanted to share them with you today.
We hope that your Christmas is just as special (it has to be if you wake up THAT early)!

Emily & Benji (and Ely) #2

Emily and Benjamin were married November 7th 2009 at the USF Botanical Gardens in Tampa, FL. Emily's grandfather made it such a special day when he drove her to the ceremony in his classic car! Everyone laughed when he honked that old horn to announce her arrival. The wedding was followed by an outside reception with Sonny's barbecue for dinner! I really felt at home with them and everyone had tons of fun!

Emily & Benji (and Ely)

October 2009:
Emily and Benji are such a sweet pair. They are down-home good ol' folks. I was surprised that I wasn't somehow related to them because they reminded me so much of my own family! I had the pleasure of doing their Engagement Session AND their Wedding (wedding pictures in another post)! We enjoyed shooting on a Saturday evening on the beautiful campus of the University of Tampa! Benji has a great sense of humor and Emily was so open to ideas and very flexible! Ely is a pirate ship commander under cover! I hope to see more of them in the future.

Alan & Caroline

I was able to shadow my favorite local photographer on this wedding. Alan & Caroline were married at Bartow First Baptist Church in Bartow, FL on August 1st 2009. They were very laid back and had a beautiful ceremony/reception. I will never forget them since it was my first actual wedding! I am forever thankful to Mindy Mier of Lasting Impressions Photography for allowing me to be a part of capturing their wedding!
